Medusa

Medusa is a Gorgon from Greek mythology. The story goes that she had snakes for hair and was so ugly that she would turn anyone to stone if they even looked at her. Later, she was beheaded by Perseus, who used her head as a weapon to— you guessed it— turn others to stone.

I did this tattoo on my friend Brad on back-to-back days (you can do that). I like Brad, so I drew Medusa less hideous than the legend would have suggested. Who wants an ugly lady tattooed on their side? She’s still pretty grumpy though— not much to be done about that.
